ARK’s STORY SO FAR
2020-2021
ARK provides COVID-19 relief. Feeding the community and purchasing a vehicle to deliver meals during social distance regulations.
2022
For the first time, community public toilets are installed in Avontuur. Blessing the local community with running water and plumbing.
2023
Church building support is provided; purchasing new sound equipment, a projector and screen, and new chairs for the congregation.
2024
This year ARK has continued to support Avontuur and plans to visit on mission in October, 2024.
2014
ARK is founded and falls in love with the children and community of Avontuur.
2015
ARK begins the building projects - breaking ground on the Avontuur feeding kitchen.
2016
Avontuur church building is erected. Creating a church-home for the community to worship and find hope.
2017
The open air pavilion is built. Providing children shade to eat provided meals, escape the heat, find peace, and play.
2018-2019
ARK builds a well for the Avontuur community, providing clean water locally. In these years an on-site playground is built, grass is planted, and fencing is installed.
