The Avontuur Project

Avontuur is located in the state of Mpumalanga, South Africa, where the HIV Prevalence rate among mothers giving birth is 35% and the unemployment rate is 27%. Your investment will directly effect the future of these rates, this state, and the entire country. 

ARK to the Nations has proudly given aid to this city for the last 10 years and counting!

So far, with your support, ARK has aided and blessed Avonutuur by providing the following:

• Set up a well to provide clean water

• Set up a community feeding station

• Feeding the children on a daily basis

• Built a community playground

• Built a new church building

• Constructed an open-air pavilion

• Purchase vehicles to deliver food as relief to communities and families affected by COVID-19 pandemic restrictions

• Installed outdoor public toilets with running water

• Provided sound equipment, chairs, projector and screen for the church

• Provided school uniforms for the children to attend classes

• Provided soccer uniforms for the children to play community sports

We have already made so much progress in blessing Avontuur and we are nowhere near finished! Not only are we providing for physical needs, but we are providing in the spiritual - joy and hope are at the center of Adam’s vision for Africa.
